This package allows you to distribute thousands of scales on a mesh, creating a dynamic and colorful effect. The scales can grow, bend, and shrink, and the color transition shader adds an extra layer of visual interest. The sample scene uses a car, but you can easily apply the effect to any 3D model. A step-by-step guide is provided to help you get started.
The package includes:
- 1 compute shader for distributing points on mesh
- 1 shader for color transition effect
- 1 shader for scale object's transition effect
- 1 script to control the effect, 2 other scripts for camera and UI
Requires compute shader to distribute points on mesh.
Tested on Windows, Android, and iOS, with 60 fps and high performance.
Note: SkinnedMeshRenderer is not supported.
