Dunes Terrain Volume 1 is a comprehensive environment package designed for adventure missions on desktop or mobile platforms. The terrain is highly configurable and features low-poly assets that look perfect from close up, making it ideal for first-person games. The Unity terrain blends seamlessly into a low-poly surrounding mesh, which in turn blends seamlessly into a terrain baked onto the skybox, creating an endless landscape of mountainous dunes.
The geology of the terrain is based on aeolian dunes, where prevailing winds carry sediment from distant sources and deposit it on the windward flanks, creating a vast landscape of rolling windswept dunes.
The package includes a set of 12 rocks and boulders, made of sandstone, which are low-poly with multiple LODs and mobile-ready with high-res textures. The rocks are designed to work well on mountainous parts of your scene.
The props included in the package are game-ready and modelled to create an adventure atmosphere. They include a water well, broken building walls, cushion seats, a pyramid, a tent, and more.
The vegetation has been designed specifically for this arid terrain and includes 10 x acacia trees, 5 x date palm trees, 5 x small palm trees, 3 x salt cedar trees, a white bark tree, 5 x papyrus plants, and 6 x long grass.
This terrain is part of a huge set of terrains, and by adding more terrains, you can add multiple levels to your game. Each terrain has a similar design style and similar performance specifications.
The package also includes a huge database of assets, which can be added to your terrain, including props, trees, vegetation, rocks, and boulders. All assets have been designed with the same style and are fully compatible with this terrain.
