The Medical Gnomon UI Element is a helpful tool for medical imaging applications. It is typically located at the bottom left or right of the window and can also be referred to as a 'Compass' or 'Viewing Cube'. This element allows users to easily visualize the patient's orientation.
The patient space can be adjusted according to the convention used in your application. You can also select between BIPED and QUADRUPED orientations, as defined by DICOM's Anatomical Orientation Type Attribute.
