The SDSDInk Responsive WebGL Template is designed for simplicity. Most customizations can be made directly in the Player Settings, eliminating the need to edit the index.html file. To get started, simply fill out the parameters in the Player Settings, update your logo and loading image, and adjust the favicon. You can also pause the WebGL game after loading by adding a prefab to your initial scene.
You can customize various aspects of the template, including:
- Web page title
- Aspect ratio
- HTML button for user interaction
- Loading bar colors and width
- Background colors
- Canvas container background color
- Loading screen color
- Aspect ratio or pillarbox mode
- Hiding fullscreen and click-to-start buttons
- Preventing save menu from popping up with Ctrl+S
- Displaying a custom logo or loading image
The template is tested and compatible with Unity 6, PC, Android, and iPhone, and supports Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, and Opera browsers.
With SDSDInk Responsive WebGL Template, you can customize the following settings directly in the inspector:
- Change the Web Page Title
- Set the Aspect Ratio (if using Aspect Ratio Mode)
- Set an HTML button (tap to start) that forces users to interact
- Set the HTML button's text (e.g., Tap To Start)
- Set the HTML button's text color
- Use Google Fonts for custom Tap To Start font
- Set the HTML button's text Y Offset in %
- Set the loading bar's colors and width
- Set the background color of the HTML button
- Set the Canvas Container's Background color
- Set the color of the loading screen
- Set your canvas space up using Aspect Ratio Mode, or Pillarbox Mode
- Hide Fullscreen button
- Hide Click To Start Button (which is needed to initiate the game's sounds in browser)
- Prevent save menu from popping up with Ctrl+S
- Display a custom logo / loading image while loading
- Works for both PC and mobile in Unity 6
- Tested with Unity 6, on PC, Android, and iPhone
- Browsers tested: Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, and Opera
- Other versions of Unity (Prior to Unity 6) don't natively support mobile WebGL
- There is no fullscreen on IOS Browsers natively. This asset doesn't offer that support!
- This asset was created with and intended to be used with Unity 6+, so it may not be compatible with older versions
