River Auto Material 3 (R.A.M 3) is a powerful tool for creating realistic water environments in Unity. It allows you to create advanced rivers, lakes, seas, waterfalls, and swamps with flow maps and connect them automatically. The pack also includes a spline system that can carve terrain and textures on it, automatically.
The pack supports Unity 2022.3+ LTS HD RP 14+, Unity 2022.3+ LTS URP 14+, Unity 2023.2+ HD RP 16.0+, Unity 2023.2+ URP 16.0+, Unity 6+, HD RP, URP, and Built-in. It also includes features such as:
- Automatic river and lake generation
- Spline system for carving terrain and textures
- Waterfall and sea simulation
- Fence system for creating fences, roads, and paths
- Additional simple spline system for painting terrain
- API and other features for customizing and extending the pack
- Physics and VFX particles for realistic water effects
The pack is compatible with RTX, DOTS, and SRP Batcher. It also includes a demo scene for mobile support. The pack has been tested with Unity 6.1+ HD RP, URP, and Built-in.
The pack has been using third-party solutions like Triangle.NET library under MIT Licence and FrancNormalSolver.cs based on code created by schemingdeveloper. You can also look at our other packs, including Environment Bundle - Dynamic Nature, Lava & Volcano Environment 2023, and more.
To run HD or URP, please import the pack to HD or URP project and then import the support pack inside the asset in "HD and URP support" folder. It will replace shaders, prefabs, and meshes so they will work with RP out of the box. Please also check the readme files inside that folder.
