HTrace is a powerful tool for rendering diffuse indirect lighting with infinite light bounces. It doesn't require baking or asset pre-processing and works out of the box with little to no tweaking. This system is designed for dynamic environments where objects, materials, and lighting can be changed in real-time. It supports fully dynamic lighting and objects, including skinned meshes, and casts and receives indirect lighting and shadows. HTrace uses a two-stage tracing algorithm that leverages both screen-space and world-space data to deliver per-pixel lighting response and accurate indirect shadows. It also features advanced denoising, real-time scene voxelization, irradiance caching, emissive lights, sky lighting and occlusion, and support for Unity's Adaptive Probe Volumes.
Currently supported APIs are: DX11 & DX12. Currently supported HDRP versions are: 14 and above. Currently supported Unity versions are: 2022.2.21 and above. VR Support: Single Pass (experimental).
